ECFH in Steady Support of "School Sports" in 2013

The ECFH Group continues to live up to its policy to support and promote activities and efforts that positively influence youth development through education and sports.

To date twenty schools have been supported with their annual sports meets with the provision of trophies, medals and other financial and in kind contributions including the provision of tents and other prizes.

The Bank will also be throwing its support towards the 2013 Inter Secondary School Athletics Championships slated for March 11th, 12th & 13th.

Acting Group Managing Director Esther Browne says that ECFH’s support of School sports is at the heart of it Corporate Social Responsibility Policy: “At ECFH we fully recognize the indisputable positive impact of Sports in the lives of young people. It nurtures discipline, good health, teamwork, focus, a spirit of competitiveness and a determination in the pursuit of excellence. All of these qualities are critical to the success of young persons as they develop into model citizens and high achievers. It also brings together families, communities and the nation as a whole. It is on this basis that we continue to support school sports at the community and national level”

ECFH also continues to support academic awards ceremonies across the island from the primary school to the tertiary level and is proud to be a part of the celebration of the achievements of outstanding young St. Lucians in the areas of academia, the arts, culture and sports.
