ECFH Supports Nobel Laureate Week

The Nobel Laureate Week Committee of the Sir Arthur Lewis Community College received a boost from the East Caribbean Financial Holding Company Ltd. (ECFH). In commemoration of Nobel Laureate Week, the College hosted a number of activities under the theme “Celebrating Excellence” - which included a production, entitled “Pa Kité Mwen Atè: An Evening of the Arts.” Senior Manager –Marketing and Corporate Communications Mrs. Maria Fowell, stated, “It is indeed fitting that the institution which bares the name of one of the Nobel Laureates leads the way with programs promoting Nobel Laureate Week. All Saint Lucians including corporate entities like the ECFH share in the pride of accomplishment as we recognize the great achievements of Hon. Derek Walcott and Sir Arthur Lewis.”

She added, “ECFH continues to support Nobel Laureate Week because of the dual role it plays. Firstly, it honours the legacy of two of St. Lucia’s most distinguished sons of the soil; and secondly, it supports the efforts in highlighting the creative and artistic talents of promising Saint Lucian Youth which is at the core of the Group’s Corporate Social Responsibility policy.”
